Our History

Welcome to Jack's Barbeque! For over 70 unforgettable years, Jack's Barbeque was a beloved cornerstone of the Minneola Florida community, serving up slow-smoked perfection and unforgettable flavors. Though the doors may have closed, the legacy of our iconic sauces and rubs lives on!


It all began in 1948, when Jack crafted the original recipe and launched his small
barbeque business. By 1952, his dream became a restaurant, later entrusted to his niece and her husband, Benny. Together, they transformed Jack Benny’s into a local legend, famous for its savory, slow-smoked barbeque and the warm, inviting atmosphere that felt like home. In 1998, Charles ("Charlie") took the torch, keeping the chimney smoking for over two decades, fueled by the same tradition and passion.


Though the restaurant is no longer, we’re thrilled to continue the tradition by
offering our signature sauces!
